Actors are taking over Lynchburg businesses this week.
Members of the Endstation Theater Company are making surprise visits to companies like R.R. Donnelley, Babcock & Wilcox, and Bank of the James.
Endstation members are acting out scenes from a play they're putting on this summer at Sweet Briar College.
The short performances are called "Random Acts of Culture." Lynchburg's Economic Development Office is organizing the events as a "thank you" to the business community.
It's also a way to introduce workers to the arts in their community.
"I think it highlights the quality of life, which I think is very important to our employers here to both attract and retain employees," said Marjette Upshur, Lynchburg's director of economic development. "I also always like to highlight that the arts themselves are an economic sector."
The surprise shows will be happening at different businesses for the rest of this week.
