A high school student was arrested in Pittsylvania County on Thursday.
Authorities say students at Dan River High School noticed another student on campus with a gun yesterday.
He had been suspended from school earlier in the week.
On Wednesday, a school resource officer found him in a parked car near the end of the school day.
According to a news release, he had a loaded shotgun, a knife, brass knuckles, and untaxed alcohol with him.
The teen is facing felony charges.
