Roanoke County police say the driver of a car who crashed into two homes Friday morning may have had a medical emergency.
The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. on Kingsmill Drive, near the Roanoke County/Salem line.
Investigators say the driver veered off the road, and crashed into a home at 1648 Kingsmill Drive. The vehicle continued through a yard and then crashed into the basement of a home at 1901 Queensmill Drive.
No one inside either home was hurt. The driver was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
