People are taking away buckets full of blueberries from a Blacksburg farm.
The bushes are packed with them.
Blueberries are ready for picking at 3 Bird Berry Farm.
Just on cue, to make some summer memories.
And you can't help but take a taste!
The blueberries are first, then blackberries and raspberries.
"There's probably going to be two blueberry pound cakes and then I put them in the freezer. They'll be frozen because we have smoothies and on cereals, said Rosemary Thomas, a berry picker from Botetourt County.
The new owners, Irene Lamb and Bill Sembello, bought the organic berry farm last May.
This is their second season.
Some big improvements were made this year.
There are new gravel pathways, allowing handicapped accessible berry picking.
They've also added hundreds of new berry plants.
