Power has been restored to all 1,500 Appalachian Power customers following an outage Friday morning.
At this point it’s not clear what caused the outage.

As of Friday at 11 a.m., nearly 1,500 Appalachian Power customers in Roanoke do not have electricity.
A company spokesperson says there is a breaker issue at the Walnut Avenue Substation.
Right now, crews are working to fix the problem. They hope to have the power back on by noon Friday.
