Saturday's Powerball jackpot has grown to $550 million, according to the Virginia Lottery.
The Virginia Lottery says the jackpot has grown because of stronger-than-expected sales.
8:57 a.m. Thursday: Someone in Christiansburg has $1 million to spend, and they may not know it yet.
While no one won the $360 million Powerball jackpot on Wednesday night, a winning $1 million ticket was bought at the Wilco Food Mart at 204 Roanoke Street in Christiansburg. The winner has not claimed their prize.
The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night: 2, 11, 26, 34, 41 and a Powerball of 32.
Two other tickets in Virginia won $10,000 each in Wednesday’s drawing. Those tickets were bought in Manassas and Alexandria.
Saturday’s estimated Powerball jackpot is up to $475 million.
