Got a lot you want to get off of your chest? We can help you funnel that energy of yours into something productive--RedEye's first Twitter chat!

This week, we're experimenting with a live discussion via Twitter on a specific topic you would normally see covered in RedEye. It could be focused on sports, the CTA, neighborhood news, local government, dining and nightlife, entertainment--you get the point. The best part? You get to pick the topic. Here's how it works:

  • Vote for your topic of choice in the poll to the left (see below for details on the topics).
  • Tweet @redeyechicago your vote, too. Just to get your point across.
  • Use the hashtag #redeyechat.
  • Check back on Twitter Thursday morning to see what the winning topic is.
  • Join in at 11 a.m. by following the #redeyechat hashtag!
  • @Redeyechicago will tweet several questions related to the topic to get the discussion moving.

Now, more on this week's topics to vote on. Pick the one you'd like to discuss!

Chicago music fests:
The Mad Decent Block Party is this weekend, and North Coast Music Festival rounds out a busy music fest season on Labor Day Weekend. Let's rewind and discuss what went well, what didn't and what you want changed for next year.

"Crusty" CTA stations:
This week, RedEye's Tracy Swartz crowned the Sheridan Red Line stop as RedEye's 2012 Crust Station winner, aka the most disgusting CTA stop. Let's talk more CTA crud.
