Terrence J On Starring In Movie 'Think Like A Man'
Terrence J stopped by to talk to us about his starring role in the upcoming "Think Like A Man" and working alongside the late Whitney Houston in "Sparkle."

Sony Screen Gems' romantic comedy THINK LIKE A MAN (www.thinklikeaman-movie.com); releases nationwide in theatres on April 20th and is based on Steve Harvey's bestselling book "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man."

The film stars Gabrielle Union, Taraji P. Henson, Regina Hall, Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Hart. Terrence stars as "Michael," the so-called 'Momma's Boy' whose relationship with his girlfriend (Regina Hall) becomes strained when he tries to balance the needs of both her and his doting mother (Jenifer Lewis).

Also in 2012, Terrence (twitter.com/#!/terrencej) will star alongside the late great Whitney Houston in Sony's remake of the 1970's musical drama SPARKLE (www.sparkle-movie.com); set for release later this summer. The film, starring Jordin Sparks, Cee-Lo, Derek Luke and Mike Epps, chronicles a single mother's (Houston) journey to raise three daughters seeking stardom.

Terrence will also be seen alongside Chris Brown, Josh Holloway and Josh Peck in the upcoming Screen Gems feature PLANET B-BOY (www.planetbboy.com), which centers on an American dance crew that heads to France to compete at the Battle of the Year International Championships.

Originally from Queens, New York, Terrence grew up in Raleigh and Rocky Mount, North Carolina. While attending high school and college he worked as a DJ for local radio stations before successfully auditioning for the host position of BET's 106 & PARK (www.bet.com/shows/106-and-park.html). When Terrence isn't filming, he and his girlfriend, Supermodel Selita Ebanks, split their time between New York and Los Angeles.

His other film credits include BURLESQUE, STOMP THE YARD and STOMP THE YARD 2: HOMECOMING. In 2011, Terrence began a recurring role as "Dante Young" the much younger boyfriend of "Tasha Mack" (Wendy Raquel Robinson) on the hit BET comedy-drama series THE GAME in addition to his recurring role on the E! Entertainment reality series KOURTNEY AND KHLOE TAKE MIAMI.
