China Anne McClain, 13, stars as Chyna Parks in the top-rated Disney comedy series "A.N.T. Farm" about an 11-year-old musical prodigy who attends a high school as part of the prestigious A.N.T. (Advanced Natural Talents) program. She, along with her fellow A.N.T.s must find their place and make the most of their high school experience.
In addition to the show, she is also signed by Hollywood Records and is quickly making a name for herself as a recording artist. Her newest hit "Calling All The Monsters" has been topping the Radio Disney charts for weeks and her recent cover of Taio Cruz's "Dynamite" has almost 5 million views on VEVO.
China Anne is also in New York this week to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
She will spoke about the show, the cast, working with Disney, her music, her family life and what it's like to perform on the huge stage that is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
McClain was discovered in 2005 by a music executive who heard her sing and encouraged director Rob Hardy to audition her for his feature film "The Gospel." China's role in the film caught the attention of actor/director/producer Tyler Perry who ultimately cast her in his series "Tyler Perry's House of Payne." McClain's additional feature film credits include roles in "Grown Ups" and "Hurricane Season."
On the small screen, she has had guest appearances on "NCIS" and Disney Channel's "Wizards of Waverly Place," "JONAS L.A." and "Hannah Montana." McClain is passionate about music, enjoys playing the guitar and is learning to play piano and violin.
