Storm Team 12: Below normal temperatures continue
A few storms are possible in northwest Kansas later this evening.  Otherwise look for clouds and some patchy fog to develop over parts of western Kansas overnight.  Lows will settle back to the 60s for most of Kansas, with Goodland and Colby set to drop into the upper 50s.

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are forecast for Thursday.  Expect most of the state to reach the 80s, with low 90s in far southwest Kansas.  Some late day storms are forecast in the northwest, with the activity moving southeast during the overnight.

A few more storms are forecast on Friday as a cold front moves into the west.  Ahead of the front, we'll see highs back up into 90s.

Highs should drop back a bit--mainly 80s--for the weekend.  Storms will take a break on Saturday but will start to work back into the area late Sunday through Monday and Tuesday.

The forecast should warm up during the first half of next week.
