The so-called "Twi-hards" had been camped out in downtown L.A. for days hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars one last time as the franchise wraps up.
Over 160 celebrities were on hand for the big event, including fan-favorites Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
"Anything that scares you should push you, not keep you from living your life, and I think I've gotten that from Bella in a huge way," Stewart said of her character.
"I think that's why everyone is so excited. They get the same thing," she added.
"I'm still in shock from the first one... just seeing how sweet everybody is," said Robert Pattinson, who plays Bella's love interest, vampire Edward Cullen.
Pattinson walked the carpet in green suit, which he said was made by Gucci after he had a dream that he was supposed to wear the unusual hue.
Also on hand was Taylor Lautner, who stars as werewolf Jacob Black. He competes with Edward Cullen for most of the series for Bella Swan's love.
"It doesn't get old. It doesn't," Taylor Lautner, who stars as werewolf Jacob Black, added. "The only thing is you kind of expect it... You know the fans are this amazing."
"Breaking Dawn, Part 2" hits theaters nationwide on Friday, with midnight showings on Thursday expected to draw big crowds.
