3 masked men rob Oceanside bank (San Diego FBI)

OCEANSIDE, Calif. -- Three masked men took one minute to rob an Oceanside bank Tuesday morning, an FBI spokesman said.

The three men entered a Wells Fargo Bank at 2701 Vista Way around 10:30 a.m. yelling at the tellers and customers to get down on the floor, according to San Diego FBI spokesman Darrell Foxworth.  Then two of them proceeded to jump on the counters and took money from cash drawers while the third man stood in the lobby.

One of the robbers who jumped over the counter was believed to be armed with a handgun in his waistband, although no physical injuries were reported, Foxworth said.

The robbery lasted approximately one minute and the suspects left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, Foxworth said.

The FBI and Oceanside Police Department are asking for the public to identify the three robbers who wore masks, gloves, dark pants, dark or gray jackets, and tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about the robbery has been asked to contact the FBI at 858-565-1255 or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-TIPS (8477).
