UTA Professor Missing

Police say that Pablo Mora left his condo on Avondale Avenue on September 30th. Mora has been gone for over two weeks, absent from his home and from the UTA campus. Dallas police are investigating the disappearance of the assistant professor of psychology.

”And it`s been very emotional and shocking since this happened,” UTA student LaTonya Gardner said.

At UTA, Mora was studying the way cultural views shape the decision to look for mental health services. He has done extensive research on the way psychological factors influence a person`s perception of their own health.

There haven't been many leads in the professor’s disappearance. Police found Mora’s car at Ray Roberts Lake State Park in Denton County, more than an hour away from his condo.

“Every day I`m praying…hoping they find him or find out something about the professor,” Gardner said.

“I hope that it turns out that he forgot to tell people he left for the weekend or something like that,” Student Daniel Shue said.

Mora is described as 5'10 and around 210 pounds. If you have any information about his disappearance, you`re urged to call police.
