Kennedale High School teacher Brittni Colleps arrested in student sex/sexting scandal
UPDATE: Brittni Nicole Colleps has been charged with five counts of inappropriate relationship between a student and teacher, which is a felony.

A Kennedale High School teacher is behind bars for allegedly having sex with five students. 27yr old Brittni Nicole Colleps is accused of having sexual intercourse with the students at her home in Arlington. The students also told police Colleps sent them text messages and pictures, both of sexual nature.

Police say the students involved are all 18 years old and legal adults, but under Texas law it is a felony for a teacher to have improper/sexual relationships with students.

Brittni Colleps turned herself in to Arlington police this morning and is being held on $125,000 bond.

Kennedale ISD Superintendent Gary Dugger released a statement to parents, saying "The district is prohibited from commenting further on any personnel, based on Texas law. Please know that the safety and security of your child and all Kennedale ISD students is extremely important."
