Amy Adams stars as the young and sweet Anna, who is anxiously awaiting an engagement ring from her boyfriend Jeremy. Instead, he gives her a pair of earrings, and leaves for Dublin on a work trip. But in ireland, on Leap Day, it's customary for a woman to propose to her man, so Anna sets off to pop the question abroad. She gets stuck in the rain, mud and manure, but her some help from a handsome local who accompanies her on her journey. But will his looks be tempting enough to change her mind?
For the movie for the date, it's 'Youth in Revolt'. Michael Cera stars as Nick, a shy, dorky teenager who is a virgin and desperate to lose it. He's crazy about Sheeni Saunders, but she's just not that into him. So he creates an alter ego, Francois who is the ultimate ladies man. He's amazed at his own capabilities to win over his love and while it is working, Francois goes a little too far, breaking the law and angering his mother and her boyfriend. But we can all remember what it was like to be a rebellious teen and this movie captures it perfectly.
And for the movie to wait for the DVD, 'Daybreakers'. Ethan Hawke makes his on screen comeback as Edward Dalton, a vampire researcher who is trying to find a human blood substitute. See, most of the humans in the worls are now vampires, and human blood is hard to come by. If Dalton doesn't find a solution soon, the few remaining humans will be killed and the vampires will starve.
