Toyota Recalls 95,700 Vehicles
If you drive a Toyota or Scion, your car could be involved in a major recall.

Toyota is recalling about 95,700 2009 and 2010 Toyota Corolla and Corolla Matrix vehicles. 2008 and 2009 Scion xD vehicles are also being recalled.

The company says moisture can seep into the brake system and freeze. That can affect the power-assist to the brakes.

If your vehicle is affected, you'll get a notice to take it to a dealer for repair. Crews will install a new intake air connector, which takes about an hour. Toyota said customers will not be charged.

Since the condition can happen at low temperatures, Toyota is focusing on vehicle owners in just 19 states right now: Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
