Tacoma—Ther are dozens of conversations Maurice Clemmons had with his wife and friends about what he planned to do when he got out of jail on bail.
The calls started early last October while Clemmons was in the Pierce County Jail for a parole violation. He was also face a third strike and life in prison.
In the conversations Clemmons tells his wife he will not go back to prison under any circumstances and when he gets out on bail he needs to get a gun and plans to use it to kill police officers.
Clemmons got out of jail on November 23rd after friends and family posted bail. One week later he killed four Lakewood police officers in the Forza Coffee Shop.
