The Pacific Northwest region is said to be the home for the ape-like creatures commonly referred to as Sasquatch. The latest exhibit at the Washington State History Museum explores the Sasquatch mystery, examining how scientists attempt to explain and investigate the Bigfoot phenomenon, including a look at hoaxes and popular cultural interpretations.
The exhibit looks at tribal legends, physical evidence, as well as the environment to provide a contextualized background on the Sasquach mystery.
Giants in the Mountains: The Search For Sasquatch opens January 23rd and runs through June 27th at the Washington State History Museum in Tacoma.
