The Fourth Street on- and off-ramps to westbound Interstate 8 are set to continue to be closed today and Tuesday as the city of El Centro does landscaping work in the vicinity.
The ramps will be closed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Tuesday, according to a press release from the California Department of Transportation. Signs will be posted ahead of time alerting drivers to the closure.
Questions about the project should be directed to city of El Centro Associate Engineer Oscar Espinoza at 760-337-5182.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and safely move over a lane when Caltrans or other emergency vehicles are displaying flashing amber lights.
