Greencastle man charged with pointing loaded handgun at people
A Greencastle, Pa., man has been charged with pointing a loaded handgun at two people Saturday evening.
Paul L. Kitchen, of 30 Desert Drive in Greencastle, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of recklessly endangering a person, the Greencastle Police Department said in a release.
Police responded to the incident at about 6:45 p.m. Saturday after receiving a call that a person was holding a male at gunpoint, the release said.
Ohio man injured when truck tips over
An Ohio man was seriously injured when the Mack truck that he was driving tipped on its side Tuesday on Pa. 913 in Wells Township, Pa. Pennsylvania State Police said.
Todd A. Leu, 42, of Wauseon, Ohio, was listed in serious condition Wednesday morning at Altoona Regional Health System, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Leu was traveling east on Pa. 913 at about 6:45 a.m. Tuesday when he failed to negotiate a right turn and the truck tipped over, according to a state police press release. The truck slid off the roadway and struck a guard rail and a utility pole, police said.
Troopers said Leu had to be freed from the truck before he was flown to Altoona.
Gasoline, sheet metal stolen from Pa. rod, gun club
Authorities were seeking the person or people who stole 80 gallons of gasoline and a 1/2 inch piece of sheet metal from the Chambersburg (Pa.) Rod and Gun Club, Pennsylvania State Police said.
The incident is believed to have happened Friday or Saturday at the club at 3725 Warm Spring Road, according to a state police press release.
