The Hagerstown-Washington County Economic Development Commission invites the community to “Farm to Fork— the Future Faces of Agriculture” dinner Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at LJ’s and the Kat Lounge, 1130 Conrad Court in Hagerstown.
Touted as a fine-dining picnic experience, Alex Tiches, LJ’s owner, and Chef Lonnie Coble will prepare a dinner menu featuring all local ingredients, including beef, lamb, goat, artisan cheeses, and fruits and vegetables.
Future Farmers of America and 4-H Club members will be on hand to discuss the importance of local, sustainable food products and share information about farming and agriculture.
Tickets must be purchased in advance at $25 per person.
Proceeds from the event will support FFA and 4-H efforts in Washington County.
