Hartford Hospital's Institute of Living (IOL) invites the community at large to visit the new on-campus home of its Family Resource Center (FRC) and ACCESS-Mental Health Connecticut program during an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at the IOL's Massachusetts Cottage, 200 Retreat Ave., Hartford, from 4-6 p.m.
All are welcome to tour the new space in the IOL's Massachusetts Cottage, home to both the FRC and ACCESS-Mental Health Connecticut. Programmatic and clinical staff from both programs will be on hand to provide tours, assist visitors with questions, and highlight services.
The IOL FRC provides education, support, referral services and treatment to persons or families dealing with mental illness. The ACCESS-Mental Health Connecticut Program is a new statewide initiative designed to connect pediatricians with child psychiatry services.
