Runners may now register for the 7th annual Rotary Club of Farmington 5K Road Race to be held on Sunday, Sept. 28 in conjunction with the Unionville Festival. Online registration is available at http://www.RotaryRoadRace.org, along with the course map and description, and sponsor information. All ages children through seniors may participate in one of four categories.
Registration before Sept. 12 is $20 and after that date is $25. The first 250 registrants will all receive race t-shirts, and, new this year, early registrants may spend an extra $10 to upgrade to a Zorrel microfiber shirt in their specific size. The timed race begins at 1 p.m., with check-in beginning at 11 a.m. at the Gazebo in Unionville. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in each of four categories.
For those wishing an easier, shorter course, the 3rd Annual 1-Mile Walk and Kids Fun Run will take place beginning at 12:15 p.m. Both early and day-of registration is $10. All participants will receive a medal for participation.
Farmington Bank will once again serve as the Elite Sponsor of this event. Our new Finish Line Sponsor will be the Farmington Chamber of Commerce. The Rotary Club of Farmington is a non-profit service organization.
