Groundbreaking Ceremony For Wounded Veteran Greg Caron's New Home
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Abbott Road in Ellington Sept. 5 where a home will be built for USMC Corporal Greg Caron. In 2011, Caron was on patrol in Afghanistan searching for Taliban compounds and was severely wounded when an IED exploded. He lost both legs immediately, and received a critical wound to his right arm.
