Stay Alert For Battery Warning Signs
On average a car battery lasts 3 to 5 years, but poor driving conditions and insufficient car maintenance can reduce the life of your battery. Here are some warning signs from AAA that your car battery may experience a breakdown: 1) Your battery is more than three years old; 2) You hear a buzzing, clicking or scraping sound when you turn the ignition on; 3) Your automobile cranks slowly when trying to start; 4) Your automobile stalls; 5) Your headlights become dim when your automobile is idle, but intensify when you rev the engine
