Mother Models New Style After Makeover
HARTFORD — New County Motor Cars whisked away the winner of their 2nd Annual Magnificent Mom Makeover promotion for a day of pampering recently when Christine McKeown of South Windsor was chosen from countless entries to receive the grand prize package.
McKeown's day of decadence began with the arrival of a personal chauffeur in a luxurious new Mercedes to escort her to Elements Massage in East Longmeadow, Mass., for a relaxing massage. Next was a new hairstyle, complete with color and cut, at Studio 513 in Wethersfield. Then a stop at the New Country Mercedes dealership in Hartford for the presentation of gift cards from BodyRoc and Joy of Food. Lastly, she enjoyed a shopping spree at Soft Surroundings in Evergreen Walk, South Windsor with personal stylist Debbie Wright from Project Closet.
"This was the best Mother's Day gift ever!" said McKeown, mother of four boys. "I appreciate the generosity of New Country, all of the businesses, and my son for truly making me feel like a queen for the day."
