Robert Graham's Criminal Record

The criminal record of Robert Lee Graham, who was convicted Wednesday of murder in the slaying of Tashauna Jackson, according to court and state police records and Courant archives:

•On Jan. 23, 1972, a 16-year-old Graham robbed a Trinity College student at knife-point. He was convicted of robbery.

•On Jan. 29, 1972, Graham was charged with attacking and raping a 15-year-old girl on Maple Avenue. He was convicted three months later of rape and robbery and received an "indefinite" sentence to what was then called the Cheshire Reformatory.

•Graham was paroled from Cheshire on Nov. 1, 1973.

•On Feb. 20. 1974, Graham was accused of raping a woman inside her Asylum Avenue apartment. He was convicted of rape and, in December 1975, Hartford Superior Court Judge John J. Daly sentenced Graham to 5 to 15 years in prison and recommended psychiatric treatment.

•Graham was discharged from prison Feb. 24, 1983.

•On Jan. 20, 1984, Graham was charged with beating and stabbing Betty Brown in his Hartford apartment after meeting her at a neighborhood bar. He was convicted of first-degree assault and violating probation. The following October, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison, suspended after he served eight years, and five years of probation.

•On Dec. 6, 1989, Graham was discharged from prison.

•On May 21, 1990, Graham was charged with shooting Dawn Hudson, who he had dated for a short period of time, in the face. He was convicted Jan. 28, 1993 and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

•Graham was released to parole on July 16, 2004, and discharged in October 2005.

•On Aug. 23, 2015, Graham was charged with killing Tashauna Jackson, whose badly decomposed body was found on Aug. 18, 2015 behind a poultry store on Granby Street in Bloomfield. He was convicted of murder on Wednesday and is scheduled to be sentenced March 29. He faces 25 to 60 years in prison.
