The results of Tuesday’s West Hartford election were incorrect on Page B2 Friday.
Democrats claimed a victory in both town council and school board races. Election results posted on the Secretary of State’s website indicated Shari Cantor as the top vote-getter.
Town council winners, according to results on the Secretary of State’s website, included Democrat incumbents Cantor, Beth Kerrigan, Leon Davidoff, Dallas Dodge, Ben Wenograd and Republicans Chris Barnes and Chris Williams with newcomers Democrat Liam Sweeney and Republican Mary Fay.
School board winners, also according to results on the Secretary of State’s website, included Democrat incumbent Cheryl Greenberg and Democrat newcomers Lorna Thomas-Farquharson and Deb Polun, with newcomer Republican Robert Levine beating out incumbent republican Jay Sarzen.

Beth Kerrigan — 8,026 votes | 11.53 percent of votes
Dallas Dodge — 7,182 votes | 10.32 percent of votes
Leon S. Davidoff — 7,840 votes | 11.26 percent of votes
Ben Wenograd — 7,369 votes | 10.58 percent of votes
Shari Cantor — 8,996 votes | 12.92 percent of votes
Ryan S. Langan — 4,287 votes | 6.16 percent of votes
Chris Williams — 4,532 votes | 6.51 percent of votes
Mary M. Fay — 4,666 votes | 6.70 percent of votes
Julie Krug — 4,392 votes | 6.31 percent of votes
Chris Barnes — 4,825 votes | 6.93 percent of votes
Cheryl Greenberg — 8,484 votes | 25.51 percent of votes
Lorna Thomas-Farquharson — 7,578 votes | 22.78 percent of votes
Deb Polun — 8,001 votes | 24.06 percent of votes
Jay Sarzen — 4,443 votes | 13.36 percent of votes
