CBS Boston reports: The MIT campus was put on lockdown Saturday morning following what turned out to be an unfounded report of a person with a long rifle and body armor spotted inside a campus building.
That initial report appears to have come in around 7:30 a.m. when Cambridge police tweeted that a possible gunman had been reported on Mass. Ave.
