The Connecticut General Assembly is scheduled to close out the legislative session Wednesday night. How did they do? Some would say it’s a remarkable session, with historic gun controls passed and such firsts as legislation to label genetically modified foods. Others would say that the budget is a shell game of gimmicks to cover over serious financial problems in the state, and that such things as driver's licenses for undocumented immigrants are distractions from the state’s deeper woes. What’s your view?
