Campers Visit Health Care Facility

COLCHESTER — Recently the campers of Camp Christ Lutheran in Amston visited Harrington Court recently, where they participated in the monthly worship service lead by Rev. Dr. Phil Booe, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church. The campers sang four songs and assisted pastor with the service and then handed out homemade gifts to all the residents.

Vintage Base Ball On The Green

LEBANON — Vintage base ball on the green will be played on the fourth Sunday all summer long, from noon to 2 p.m., on the Lebanon Town Green. Interested players are encouraged to join this always free fun event since we are still recruiting our starting nine for future competitive play. Fans are welcome as well. Hebron Lions Club's Leo Of The Year Award

HEBRON - The RHAM High School Leo Club, a youth group of the Hebron Lions Club, recently held the annual Night of Giving and Officer Installation, where graduate and club President Emily Saunders was awarded the Club's Leo of the Year award by the Leo Advisors.

AHM Youth And Family Services

HEBRON — This summer's first production at the AHM's Youth Theater, 25 Pendleton Drive, will be the Broadway hit "Li'l Abner" starring a cast of young actors and actresses from the towns of Andover, Columbia, Hebron and Marlborough in July.

The 13th annual AHM Golf Open will take place at Blackledge Country Club, 180 West St., on Wednesday, July 27. To receive an invitation call 860-228-9488. This tournament is open to players at all golfing levels.

Gina Marie's Restaurant, Main St., Route 66, will be the site for this annual summer gourmet dinner to benefit AHM programs to be held on Monday, Aug. 22. Bacon Academy Athletics Golf Outing

HEBRON — A golf outing hosted by Bacon Academy Athletics will be held Friday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m., at Blackledge Country Club, 180 West St. Includes: 18 holes of golf, driving cart, lunch, dinner raffles and prizes, at a cost of $125 per golfer or $500 per foursome. Joshua's Tract Passport Walks Program

MANSFIELD — There will be many special events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Joshua's Tract Conservation and Historic Trust. The passport walks program will have over 25 walks through November, with plenty of opportunities to get a stamps. Collect 18 stamps and receive a string backpack with our logo. Get your passport from any walk leader or at the Trust office at 624 Wormwood Hill Road.

Contestants Sought For Miss Lebanon Pageant

LEBANON - The Lebanon Lions Club is looking for interested young women as participants in the Miss Lebanon Fair Pageant to be held at the Lebanon Country Fair, on Friday, August 12. Applicants must be 14 – 18 years of age, single, never married, and need not be Lebanon residents. Applicants will be judged on poise, answers to questions and congeniality. Trophy, sash, and prize money will be awarded for the top three participants.
