Glastonbury Seniors Dress Up For Halloween

The Glastonbury Senior Center celebrated Halloween with its ‘Gh'oul Times Halloween Party & Country Music Hoedown’ on Oct. 25.

Approximately 135 people attended the event. The luncheon menu featured ‘ghoulish chicken,’’monster mash potatoes,’’cobweb salad,’ and ‘devil’s delight dessert.’ The Country Duo - Jeff Lorello and Rich Drake - entertained the crowd during lunch.

After lunch, seniors and their guests paraded around the room to show off their Halloween costumes, and prizes were earned for the top three.

Hank and Sandy Charland took third place for their matching pirate-themed costumes. Jodi Spencer’s ‘50s-themed attire, complete with beehive hairdo, won second place. Bob and Linda Guerrette’s Popeye and Olive Oyl costumes took first place.
