Corey Menefee, 26, and Latravis Moore, 33, were arrested Wednesday by The East Central Narcotics Task Force in Manchester after authorities observed the men making sales of heroin and crack cocaine from a vehicle.

The task force obtained the search warrant for Menefee’s vehicle and found him holding cocaine in his hand and bags of heroin on his lap when he was pulled over.

After searching the vehicle, the task force found 160 bags of heroin, over 15 grams of crack cocaine and a wad of cash.

Menefee was held on $200,000.00 bond with several charges including sale of narcotics, operation of a drug factory and possession and intent to sell within 1500 feet of a school.

A passenger in the vehicle, Moore was held on $150,000 bond and charged with conspiracy to sell narcotics and possession of narcotics.

The narcotics task force has arrested Menefee several times, authorities said. Police have not said how many times he has been arrested.

The task force has asked anyone with information about the sale or use of illegal drugs to call (860) 645-5548.
