NEW BRITAIN - The Downtown District's 11th annual car show will be Sept. 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Central Park.
There will be cars from every decade starting with the 1920s, organizers say.
Admission is free, and parking will be free in some local garages.
Organizers are running a 50/50 raffle, and will award a door prize every hour.
Twenty trophies will be awarded.
Proceeds benefit the New Britain Police Explorers youth group.
This year's honorary chairman is Orson "Roy" Rothkopf of Imperial Trophy & City Luggage.
