Police Looking For New Britain Man Accused Of Downloading Child Pornography

Police are looking for a New Britain man who allegedly downloaded child pornography from the internet, police said.

An arrest warrant for Frank Cintron, 26, of Hartford Road was granted and charges him with first-degree possession of child pornography and promoting a minor in an obscene performance. There is a $100,000 court set bond on the warrant, police said.

In June, detectives with state police computer crimes unit began an investigation after video files of suspected child pornography were downloaded to an internet account belonging to Cintron, police said.

Detectives executed a search warrant at Cintron’s home and seized computers and other electronic devices. They said they located a large quantity of both image and video files of child pornography.

Anyone who thinks they may have information or know the whereabouts of Cintron is asked to call Troop H at 860-534-1000. All calls will remain confidential.
