A bicyclist sustained minor injuries in a collision with a car near I-91 Wednesday afternoon, shutting down the highway entrance ramp near Bushnell Park for about three hours, state police said.
The bicyclist, Felix Rivera, 54, of Huyshope Avenue, suffered an injury that troopers believe is minor, police said. The collision happened It occurred about 2:15 p.m. near the ramp at Exit 29A, by the rotary near Bushnell Park.
The entrance ramp, called the Whitehead Highway, leads to both I-91 north and south.
Rivera was riding east on the travel portion of the road. The 2013 Ford Expedition also was headed east, state police said.
