1. Sgt. Spell
Earlier this month police released dashcam video of now-retired Hartford Sgt. Sean Spell kicking a handcuffed suspect during a June arrest. On Tuesday, a police report revealed Spell's side of the story. He said he kicked the suspect because he told him to stop spitting blood, and the suspect did not. He also "detected a strong, distinct odor of PCP"
UConn football coach Bob Diaco has finally commented on the demise of the #ConFLiCT - the rivalry he created with UCF last summer. The Knights, who beat UConn Saturday but left the trophy on the sideline, didn't seem to care too much. On Tuesday, Diaco said: "I'm sorry to everyone. I had an idea. What's your idea?"
3. Gilmore Girls
With a month until the much-anticipated "Gilmore Girls" Netflix revival, fans got the full-length trailer they've been waiting for Tuesday. The 2-and-a-half minute trailer features everyone from Lorelai and Rory to Luke and Lane (and pretty much everyone else).
4. Josh Brown
Amid a growing domestic abuse scandal, the New York Giants released kicker Josh Brown on Tuesday. Brown, who was suspended for the first game of the season, did not travel with the Giants to London for their Week 7 win against the Rams.
A day after a the HHS revealed that premiums will increase by an average of 25 percent for some plans, Donald Trump did not hesitate to lambaste the presidents landmark legislation. The GOP candidate said "Obamacare is just blowing up."
