Two Former Secretaries of State To Discuss Global Affairs At Grand Rapids Dinner
Retired U.S. Army General Colin Powell and Madeleine Albright will be in Grand Rapids Monday night for the annual dinner meeting of the Economics Club of Grand Rapids.

Both are making their second appearance at the club's dinner but are appearing together at the dinner for the first time.

Powell was secretary of state under President George W. Bush, and Albridght was secretary of state under President Bill Clinton. The pair will participate in a moderated discussion of global affairs and the U.S. economy.

The dinner will be held in the Steelcase Ballroom at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids.

Recent past speakers at the club's annual dinner meeting include Bono and President Clinton.
