School Bus Rolls In Crash
A school bus ended up on its side when it was involved in a crash with a crossover SUV Thursday morning northeast of Rockford.

There were no children on the bus. Both drivers suffered minor injuries, and were able to walk away from the crash on their own. The driver of the bus was was transported to Butterworth Hospital by ambulance, and the driver of the Flex was taken to the driven to the hospital in a personal car with non-lifethreatening injuries.

The crash took place around 7:25 a.m. on 12 Mile Road at Courtland Drive. The bus was westbound on 12 Mile Road when a Ford Flex ran a stop sign. The bus hit the Flex and rolled into a tree.

12 Mile was closed while the scene was cleared.

The driver of the Flex was issued a ticket for for careless driving. Neighbors said more stop signs were needed at the intersection.
