Wyoming—The fiesta is a celebration of culture and diversity. St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church held it's 40th annual August Festival at Lamar Park in Wyoming this weekend.
"It's a wonderful celebration of culture of the community," said Steve Cron, St. Joseph priest.
"We're just trying to preserve our culture and the dances and let everyone know, especially the young people, that we should always keep it in our lives - no matter where we may be at," said Hilda Ramirez, a performer of Guatemalan dance.
The celebration is to raise money for the church. It's used for scholarships and to make St. Joseph more handicap accessible.
