The 92nd St. Sebastian Feast was held this weekend at the St. Sebastian Church, 155 Washington St., in Middletown. The festival culminated Sunday with the running of the "I Nuri" in which parishioners dressed in white with red sashes and holding flowers in one hand run barefoot toward the church proclaiming "Primu Diu e Sammastianu," meaning "First God, then St. Sebastian". Once at the church they took the statue of St. Sebastian from the altar and paraded it through the streets of downtown Middletown. The festival also included a carnival and food including cannolis, sausage and peppers, and Italian ice.
