John V. Blazek has been named president of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater Illinois Chapter. Blazek joins the society from Northwestern University School of Law, where he raised more than $5 million over three fiscal years as director of major gifts. He also directed a portfolio of 150 major donors as Interim Associate Dean of Development.. He previously worked for the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago and practiced law. Besides a law degree, Blazek has a masters in divinity from the University of St. Mary of the Lake.
