Sandy Hook Ride, a team of 26 cyclists, rode 400 miles from Newton, Connecticut to the U.S. Capitol in support of a common-sense solution to prevent gun violence. They arrived at the Capitol on Tuesday.

Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) a pair of letters supporting the gun control efforts being pushed by the president at a press conference with Congress members from Connecticut and a group of 26 cyclists who rode from Newtown in support of common-sense solutions to gun violence on March 12, 2013 in Washington, DC. Each member of the group of cyclists, which included two parents of children who attended Sandy Hook Elementary School, rode in honor of one of the 26 victims killed at the school on December 14, 2012.
