Brandon Shealy of 384 Shelton Ave. in New Haven and Robert Moye, who was found hiding in a basement of Shepard Street residence on Friday, were arrested, police said.
Police found a .380 caliber handgun and other evidence linked to the shooting at the Shelton Avenue residence Friday, police said.
Shealy and Moye, both 18 and New Haven residents, are charged with criminal attempt to commit assault, unlawful discharge of a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit, police said. Each was held at $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Meriden on Aug. 21.
On Aug. 4, police responded to the area of Dixwell Avenue and Arch Street for a report of shots fired, police said. Police soon located a juvenile victim, who was not injured, but his clothing was struck by a bullet.
Police said the juvenile had attended a party in New Haven, who then went to the area of 931 Dixwell Avenue, where the shooting occurred.
Police say that they believe three individuals fired shots at the juvenile, and that another arrest is possible.
