Warning signs that your teen may be a victim of dating violence:
• Does she have fewer friends now than she did before dating him?
• Have her grades declined?
• Does she frequently cry or seem very sad?
• Is she less involved in family activities?
• If he calls or texts her, must she get back to him immediately?
• Did he tell her he loved her early in the relationship?
• Is he jealous if she looks or speaks casually with another boy?
• Is he aggressive in other areas of his life: putting his fist through walls or closets, banging his fist to make a point, or throwing things when angry?
