A judge ordered bonds posted by kidnapping and arson suspect Richard Shenkman to be revoked in a hearing Tuesday.
Prosecutor Michael Regan had sought the order.
He posted $575,000 bail on charges of first-degree arson and first-degree criminal mischief, which was revoked Tuesday.
Shenkman, accused of burning down his ex-wife's East Lyme home two years ago and kidnapping her two weeks ago, is also scheduled to appear today on the charges stemming from the July 7 hostage situation in South Windsor. Police say Shenkman kidnapped Nancy Tyler, his ex-wife, outside her work in Hartford then took her to his home in South Windsor, where he held her until she managed to escape later that night, after which he burned the house down.
Shenkman is being held, with bail set at $12.5 million in that case.
