Practicing the mandolin at the Podunk Bluegrass Festival

Heather Plecan , 10, of <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100206090000" title="Lisbon (New London, Connecticut)" href="/topic/us/connecticut/new-london-county/lisbon-%28new-london-connecticut%29-PLGEO100100206090000.topic">Lisbon</a>, CT, works on learning the basics of mandolin playing in her families camper at the Podunk Bluegrass Festival in <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100202080000" title="East Hartford" href="/topic/us/connecticut/hartford-county/east-hartford-PLGEO100100202080000.topic">East Hartford</a>.  . Plecan, who normally plays fiddle and was at a bluegrass camp working on her skills earlier this summer, said she wanted to learn a bit of mandolin now. The Plecans, Jim and Cheryl and their three children, came to the festival for one day last year and had such a good time they decided to camp there this year.
