Practicing the mandolin at the Podunk Bluegrass Festival

Heather Plecan , 10, of Lisbon, CT, works on learning the basics of mandolin playing in her families camper at the Podunk Bluegrass Festival in East Hartford.  . Plecan, who normally plays fiddle and was at a bluegrass camp working on her skills earlier this summer, said she wanted to learn a bit of mandolin now. The Plecans, Jim and Cheryl and their three children, came to the festival for one day last year and had such a good time they decided to camp there this year.
