The evening will begin at La Trattoria with a 6 p.m. silent auction and cash bar, followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and Mr. Marteka's talk at 8 p.m. The cost is $40 for members, $45 for non-members and $20 for the talk only.
Mr.Marteka is a native nutmegger, born and raised in Portland. A graduate of Muhlenberg College, he began his career at the Courant in January 1996 after five years at The Middletown Press. During his career he has been a writer, photographer and videographer.
