Harry's Bishops Corner

Harry's Bishops Corner was started by Harry Rufleth. Rufleth brought the thin crust Neopolitan style pizza to West Hartford from Pepe's Pizza in New Haven, where he once worked, initially opening Harry's Pizza in West Hartford Center with his ex-wife Barbara Lang, and her first husband Mark Mahoney. Rufleth says he continued to make refinements to the Pepe's inspired pie over the years. He retired in 2007, turning the restaurant over to longtime employees Kevin and Anne Plaut.
