Suzy Whaley was the first woman in 58 years to qualify for a PGA Tour event when she played in the 2003 Greater Hartford Open. Whaley finished with a two day total of 13-over-par 153. Whaley lives in Farmington where her daughters were standout golfers at Farmington High School.
